The
main repeated design element is the Miri Boteh or “eternal
flower” showing a seed in sprout - a powerful talisman for renewal,
recovery, redemption. These alternating rows have the occasional Mushka
motifs to ward off the evil eye from the field. There
are sprouting tops further hidden in the borders in the negative of the
“S” design border. |
